Jackboot Clifford

Jackboot Clifford is a supporting character on TNT's Snowpiercer. He is portrayed by RJ Fetherstonhaugh.

History

Not much is known about Jackboot Clifford, other than that he is a member of the Jackboots aboard Snowpiercer

Throughout the Series

Season 1

In Prepare to Brace, when the slope collapses and the Cattle Car was damaged, Clifford stood there to guard the nearby cars. Till is determined to examine the Freezer with Layton but Clifford strongly insisted, but when Boki shows up he allows the two for a 2 minutes search.

In Access Is Power, Jackboot Clifford and Jackboot Stroud put a bag on Layton's head and escorted him from Brakemen Garrison Car to Hospitality Car. Later at night, Kaffey, Clifford and Stroud was on a shift at the Tail. Melanie was present to allow Andre Layton to have a talk with Josie Wellstead. When Melanie decided that the talk is enough, Stroud and Clifford dragged Layton out and pushed him against the metal bars while Kaffey closed the window to the Tail.

In Justice Never Boarded, he escorted LJ to the tribunal. He also stood behind LJ while she gave her testimony.

In Trouble Comes Sideways, Clifford and Jackboot Tyson escorted Melanie Cavill in order to stop the Thirdie strike. Clifford hits the Thirdie Yeller who shouted at Melanie. Later Clifford would also escort Miles to meet up with Melanie Cavill in The Hospitality Car.

In The Universe Is Indifferent, Clifford and Jackboot Tyson brings Terence to Melanie Cavill in Brakeman Garrison. He also followed and guard Melanie while she searches Zarah's room in the Market. Later he is one of the two Jackboots assigned to guard Hospitality room when Josie was being interrogated by Melanie Cavill. When Melanie was making her mind after cutting Josie's pinky finger. Till ask Clifford to open the door for her to talk to Josie.

In These Are His Revolutions, when the First Class Committee found out that Mr. Wilford was not on the train and Melanie Cavill was exposed by LJ Folger that she is indeed running the train. As Jackboot Kaffey and Jackboot Clifford captures Melanie, a few passengers doesn't believe it and tried to free Melanie. Lieutenant Gardiner, along with Jackboot Tyson, Kaffey and Clifford tries to control the situation.

In The Train Demanded Blood, Clifford was the one who take Melanie Cavill to the execution chamber. Melanie asked for Clifford's mercy. Clifford told her that she should do a one big inhale so she'll die faster without pain.

Season 2

In Our Answer for Everything, Jakes listened to Layton's announcement in the Market, along with Thirdie Yeller, Jackboot Clifford, Jackboot Kaffey and Annie. They along with other ticketed passengers disagree and yell about the Tail and began to riot to abuse Tailies. Later Jakes, Clifford, Kaffey and Annie found Pike and tried to froze his arm off, which was stopped by Layton and Ruth. Thirdie Yeller then told them that the Brakemen are coming, so that everyone could escape in time.

In The Eternal Engineer, Clifford was sitting in 3rd Class Mess Hall, along with Jakes Carter, Jackboot Kaffey, Jackboot Tyson and Annie. Jakes Carter told the group that he saw Wilford's return. Later when Layton got taken to Big Alice, Roche got told by Tyson to report to Wilford on Big Alice.

In Into the White, Clifford, along with Sykes, was assigned to guard Bennett Knox at the Engine. He got knocked out by Bennett in order for him to make turn at Rocky Mountain Test Track.

Season 3

In The Last to Go, Clifford is one of the Jackboots assigned to guard EMP weapon. Kevin asked if there has been anyone came through. Despite Clifford replied that he only saw the dog-faced engineer, Kevin is going to check the weapon anyway.
