History

The body that governed the proceedings of Snowpiercer's First Class passengers. While dealing mostly with trivial matters -- such as voting on establishing scheduling stipulations about public nudity in the First Class sauna car -- they also can be convened for emergency meetings, like when the discovery is made that Mr. Wilford is not aboard the train. Their membership is as many as twenty-five passengers, among them Lilah and Robert Folger, Martin Colvin and his husband York Lam and Rajiv Sharma, who serves as committee chair, and also potentially his wife. Ruth Wardell presides over their committee meetings.

Though Rajiv Sharma serves as chair, Lilah's bullying of him to table something unspecified that the committee was to vote on, proves he holds little true authority and that powers of governing rest in the hands of other passengers, like the Folgers.

Throughout the Series

At least six members of the committee perished when Layton and Melanie disconnected seven cars from Snowpiercer, including the Folgers.
