Mia Kai-Sheck is a supporting character on TNT's Snowpiercer. She is portrayed by Carolyn Qilan Yu.

Background[edit | edit source]
Not much is known about Mia Kai-Sheck, other than that she is a child from the Tail. She probably wasn’t born aboard as she wasn't named after any city. She is presumably June's daughter, although it is not confirmed.
Throughout The Series[edit | edit source]
Season 1[edit | edit source]
In First, the Weather Changed, She is seen in the background in the Tail. When the Tailie rebellion happened, she also got injured. The wound was still bleeding in the following day.
In Prepare to Brace, she was learning additions from Lights, along with other kids. Later she was one of the three kids Ruth selected for the apprentice program. Along with Miles and Mikala, she was taken out of the Tail and moved to the third class. Her presumably mother June hugged her happily. It was revealed in Access Is Power that Miles doesn't know where she got taken.
Josie later found Mia in The Drawers while she was searching for Layton in Justice Never Boarded.
After Layton's revolution, the sleepers in the drawers would all be freed. Including Mia.
Season 2[edit | edit source]
Mia and June reappeared in Our Answer for Everything, the two were both sitting in the Market while Layton made the announcement that the Tailies didn't killed the Breachmen yesterday. However, as tension rises with Jakes Carter, Jackboot Clifford, Annie and Thirdie Yeller shouting that they disagree with Layton and the Tail. Mia and June helped Lights pack her things up and run away, probably to the Tail. However three of them found it harder to get back to the Tail and hides in Doctor Pelton's clinic.

- It is possible that her surname, "Kai-Sheck", was inspired by the name of a former china president, Chiang Kai-Shek.
