Protein Bars are rectangular bars of sustenance commmonly used as food throughout the Tail of Snowpiercer; the bars are are commonly rationed in an effort to make them last. The bars are delivered to the Tail by Hospitality, but Tailies are free to use them as they please; including stockpiling.
History
Little is known about their history, other than at some point, the Tail began stockpiling protein bars as a fail safe in the even that those up train cut of their supplies. They later began rationing the bars when their supply was cut numerous times over the years. The protein bars are made up of cockroaches in Snowpiercer (film) shown in a Scene where the cockroaches are grinded up in a machine which Curtis Everett looked into.
