Andrew is a supporting character in Snowpiercer. He is portrayed by Ewen Bremner.
History
Not much is known about the man, other than he is one of the Tail Section passenger. He does have a son, Andy, who was conceived and born aboard Snowpiercer. It is unknown who his wife is.
Throughout the film
Andrew first appears while his son, Andy, is being escorted to the engine of the train. Wanting to avenge for his son, he attacks some of the Snowpiercer staff. As punishment, the guards force his arm out of the train, while Minister Mason places a shoe on his head and gives a speech to the tailies. Andrew's arm is then pulled back inside, completely covered with ice. The guards then smash his arm off with a large hammer.
After the tailies successfully rebel against those above them, Andrew goes alongside Curtis Everett and the others as they head up the train. After they manage to overpower Minister Mason, he places the same shoe on her head and poses next to her, with the painter illustrating them.
Finally, Andrew dies in the classroom.
