Walter "The Papermaker" Flemming is a recurring character on TNT's Snowpiercer. He is portrayed by Gary Hetherington. A juror on the LJ Folger tribunal and a supporter of Andre Layton's revolution, he is later executed for his actions.

History[edit | edit source]

Little is known about Walter's past, other than he is one of many third class passengers aboard Snowpiercer.

Throughout The Series[edit | edit source]

In Justice Never Boarded, he was randomly selected as a juror from the 3rd class. Along with Edith Gusterfeld from the 1st class and Miss Gillies from the 2nd class. He casted his vote that LJ is guilty, making the results unanimous. Later when Ruth announces that Mr. Wilford commutes the punishment and allow LJ to remain in custody with her parents, Walter is clearly frustrated and shocked.

In Trouble Comes Sideways, he was eating in 3rd Class Mess Hall while Osweiller and Till arrived and threatened him to reveal who borrowed his materials to make the "thirdie strike" leaflet. With Osweiller using forces on him, he revealed it was Clay.

In These Are His Revolutions, when he realized Doctor Pelton was giving a signal that the revolution is starting, he excused himself from Doctor Kanu and meet up with Astrid. Astrid introduces Lights to Walter, the two then made their way in Electrical Room. They successfully cut down the hardline communications, making Jackboot Jefferson fail to communicate uptrain.

In A Single Trade, the Tea Room have pictures of every victim in the rebellion, that includes Walter Flemming's along with Santiago, Patterson, Big John, Mr. Riggs and Clay.
