Well, here is where our calculations diverge and I think you have an error in your calculations. An average male in the US is 175.3cm high, so that explains why you get bigger cars. I of course do not want to suggest you recalculate the thing, but a 2-meter human is actually, kinda huge. There are only <2 million people WorldWide, that are 2m+ high. The image is also from Alex, he will release HD version soon. This one is extremely impractical, as the human in the scale is only like 3 pixels, so I used the rail gauge for better proportions.
