Background

Throughout The Series

In These Are His Revolutions, Doctor Kanu is seen checking on Walter Flemming in the Clinic Car, while Doctor Pelton gives a signal (hanging a small red piece of fabric on the clinic's wall.) As soon as Walter realized what Doctor Pelton was doing, he excuses himself from Doctor Kanu.
