Terence is a recurring character on TNT's Snowpiercer. He is portrayed by Shaun Toub.
He is a charming, conniving, and ultimately dangerous janitor-turned-gangster who rules the Black Market with an enigmatic power, inspiring fierce loyalty in his army of minions. He is later assassinated by Pike on the orders of Andre Layton and replaced by John Osweiller.
History
Background
Terence is the Head Janitor on the Train.[1] However, his true significance is as a leader of the black market. He has a reputation for always demanding a price.[1]

Terence is shown as someone who looks out for himself and will do anything necessary to ensure his survival, even if that means to backstab other people. When an opportunity is presented to him, he will think about the potential consequences and will always try and get something out of it. If he can't, he will not bother.
