In [[These Are His Revolutions]], when the First Class Committee found out that Mr. Wilford was not on the train and [[Melanie Cavill]] was exposed by [[LJ Folger]] that she is indeed running the train. As [[Jackboot Kaffey]] and [[Jackboot Clifford]] captures Melanie, a few passengers doesn't believe it and tried to free Melanie. Lieutenant Gardiner, along with [[Jackboot Tyson]], [[Jackboot Kaffey|Kaffey]] and [[Jackboot Clifford|Clifford]] tries to control the situation. Gardiner was so angry that he pulled his gun out, but he quickly got hold onto the ground by [[Jackboot Kaffey]].

In These Are His Revolutions, Gardiner reported to Nolan Grey in the Sub-Train. They both lead the Jackboots to wipe the Tailies army out.

Lt. Gardiner: "Gardiner reporting, sir. Units here and ready."
Commander Grey: "Good, son. Keep ‘em moving."
Lt. Gardiner: "Let’s move! Let’s move! Grab a shield and go!"
