In These Are His Revolutions, he was in Layton's revolution plan. Astrid meet him up and assigned each duos: Jakes Carter would go down to the Sub-Train with Big John. Lights would be with Astrid and Murray would be with Miss Audrey. Jakes insults Big John when he coughs hardly if that they are the best Tailies. Astrid reminded him that they are on the same side. Jakes would then shake his hand with Big John. Later they would bravely hold off the Jackboots led by Lieutenant Gardiner down in the Sub-Train. Jakes gives them signals while Big John fires the weapon.
