Mama Grandé is a recurring character in TNT's Snowpiercer. She is portrayed by Reneé Victor.
She is an old Hispanic woman and a passenger in the Tail on Snowpiercer.

In the first couple of years when the Tail had cannibalisms, Mama Grande asks Layton to saves everyone, she hands Layton a knife. [1]

When the Tailies learned that they got their rations cut, Mama Grandé and Murray tried to comfort everyone. She later attended Tailie War Council and prepared to attack the next morning. She is seen at the front line when they plans to attack but failed since Layton got removed. Later in the evening, she happily sing Happy Birthday to Old Ivan.
When Old Ivan hang himself and Pike got a plan to use Ivan's corpse as an ambush. Mama Grandé told Jackboot Trotter that there's a corpse and they need to remove the body. Which leads to Failed Insurrection the following day.[2]
