This version, known as the Breach Car type, is a Utility variant fitted for external repairs and maintenence. ==History== After the civil war, at least 37 Battery Cars were offline. This suggests that large parts of Snowpiercer are dedicated to power reserves. Melanie later drained the batteries to much trying to escape from Wilford. As a result, the train could never move on it’s own again and had no energy reserves to restart the bogie motors. However before the Pirate Train was created, Bojan Boscovic said Big Alice has enough juice for systems to survive. Which means Big Alice recharged the batteries, some point after the sabotage of The Engine and is powering Snowpiercer. However, without Snowpiercer’s engine, the energy it provided was only enough to support essential systems on the train. As a result, it was minus degrees inside the train and all resources were rationed. First Class was even decommissioned by Wilford to save energy. ==Technology== - AIRLOCK - CONTROL PANELS - SECURITY GATESStub == Interior == The Breach Car includes a airlock and ladder, that allows Breachmen and other crew to safely enter / exit along the roof. On top of all cars are small security rails which run the length of the carriage; these allow for a safety harness to be connected thus preventing the user from falling off. Along the walls of the room feature various hangars for EVA suits to be stored. Next to these are wall-mounted holders for repair equipment and supplies. Next to the airlock appear to be two types of control panels. At the front and rear of this car are security gates which are featured in a variety of Utility car interiors. ==Appearances== :Season One :* Access is Power :;Season One :;* 994 Cars Long ==Trivia== * Whenever someone uses a breach exit, it alerts The Engine via system monitors. == Gallery == <gallery> EVAInside1.png|Interior EVAInside2.png|Interior 751525 0044 CC.jpg|Interior EVAInsideDoors.png|Airlock EVALadder.png|Ladder EVADoors.png|Hatch EVARail.png|Security rail </gallery> ==References== S01 - EP03: Access is Power S01 - EP10: 994 Cars Long
