A bogie motor would help ''Snowpiercer'' and presumably ''Big Alice'' to be able to drive along. Making every car essentially push itself along, instead of only the Engine working for 1,001 cars. Each car has its own motor for the bogies.

==Throughout the Series==
[[Torretta Canyon Crisis]] started with a simple electrical short, causing the brakes to seize. Which overheats the Bogie Motor in Car 780. The engineers have to shut the single bogie motor off and replace it with a new one, but it swung and they dropped it and it disconnected a hydraulic wire underneath the train. Melanie then had to reconnect the connector for the hydraulic system to work again.<ref>[[Trouble Comes Sideways]]</ref>
