She carries around his old shoes as comfort to remember him. With [[Zarah Ferami|Zarah Ferami']]s consent, on [[Joseph Wilford|Wilford']]s orders, she performed cold-resistance treatment on Zarah's and [[Andre Layton|Layton']]s unborn child. The train's other main doctor, [[Doctor Pelton|Dr. Pelton]], is deeply critical of this, arguing it is unethical. Mrs. Headwood accepted [[LJ Folger|LJ Folger's]] request to join the Wilfordites by flaying off a piece of her skin. (an initiation), leading to them beginning to trust each other more. In [[A Beacon for Us All]], she is seen giving a vial to LJ that would then be passed onto [[Joseph Wilford]] so he could escape from the library.
