He went to the room and retrieve a bag of suspension drug, later attempting to kill [[Joseph Wilford]].<ref>[[Bound by One Track]]</ref> After being rescued from the [[Track Scaler]], it was discovered that Melanie had kept herself alive for six months without supplies, by using the suspension drug taken from a lab with Drawer supplies on [[Rocky Mountain Test Track|Neckbreaker]]. Melanie set a timer to wake her up using stimulants, but believed that her body wasn't strong enough to wake up from suspension on her own without the stimulants. After being rescued and receiving treatment from [[Doctor Pelton]], Melanie woke up three days later.<ref>[[A Beacon for Us All]]</ref> Wilford is later exiled on the Track Scaler with a supply of the suspension drug and stimulants, putting him in the same position that Melanie was in for six months. After being deposited on the track, Wilford places himself into suspension.<ref>[[The Original Sinners]]</ref>
